PHILLIPS, Russell Bruce:

25 Dec 1937 – 27 June 2024

Aged 86 years young.  Much loved husband of Valerie for 65 years.  Passed peacefully with his loving family by his side.  Loved father and father-in-law of Christine*, Carol and Stu, Julie and Kenny, Roger, Kerry and Lloyd, Tracey and Graeme, much loved Grandad of his 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.  Loved son of the late Geordie and Edna Phillips.  Dear brother and brother-in-law of Trevor* and Elsie, Pat* and Raymond*, Daphne* and Vin, Marie* and Alan, Valerie* and Gordon* and George*, and Kaye and Sitia, and good friend of Ali.  A service to celebrate Russell’s life will be held in the Southland Crematorium Chapel, Rockdale Road on Monday, 1st July at 1:30 pm, Please note the crematorium will not be open until 1:00pm.  Messages to 181 Moore Road, Lorneville, Invercargill 9874
