BLACK, Ken (Blackie):

Peacefully at Southland Hospital on Friday, 11th August 2023, aged 70 years.  Loved father of Israel and Grandfather of Conner.  Loved son of Allan* and Ivy Black and loved brother and brother-in-law of Ian, Nevis, John*, Sylvia, Peter, Heather, Irene, and their partners.  Beloved friend of Vivienne.  A loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.  As per Ken’s wishes, a private cremation has been held.  A get-together to bid farewell to Ken will be held in the Whitty’s Bar, The Ave, Avenal on Thursday, 17th August between 3pm and 5pm.  Messages to Flat 2 213 Tweed Street, Appleby, Invercargill 9812.
