McCABE, Rodney George (Rod):

Peacefully on Saturday 23rd September 2023, age 83 at Rowena Jackson Retirement Village. Husband of Daphne, much loved Father and Father-in-law of Gavin & Fiona, Sharon & Brian, Joanne and Steve Jensen, Brent & Darlene, and Kevin and Caron. Dearly loved Grandfather of, Kimberleigh & Teegan, Rebecca & Oscar, Lior & Wren, Araya, Honor & Seth. Proud Great Grandfather of Oliver Reid, Isla & Zeke Schaumkel.  A Service to celebrate Rod's life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street on Wednesday, 27th September at 2pm the service will conclude with a private cremation.  Messages to 110 Tokanui Gorge Road Highway, Invercargill 9875.  A special mention to the staff at Rowena Jackson for their care and compassion towards Rod during his time there.
