HAINES, Ox (Koe):

After a long illness, Ox was taken from us suddenly on Friday, 28th March 2025 whilst in the loving care of Rata Park Rest Home, Winton, in his 82nd year.  Dearly loved by his childhood sweetheart, Lesley.  Loved father and father-in-law of Michael and Nikki, Toni and Stephen, and Nick and Jan.  Adored Darn of his 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, and his dog Bella.  Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.  Ox will be resting at his family home, 141 Oreti Street until his service which will be held in the Invercargill Workingmen’s Club, 154 Esk Street, Invercargill on Friday, 4th April at 11:00 am.  The service will conclude with the interment at the Eastern Cemetery.  If you wish to view the service via livestream, please go to the Avenal Park website, obituaries page and click the link on Ox’s page.  In lieu of flowers, donation to Rata Park would be appreciated and maybe left at the service.  Lesley and family would like to thank Darren and his Angels (Rata Park) for their wonderful care of Ox and his family.  Messages to Haines Family, C/- P.O.
