After a courageous battle over many years, Wayne passed away under the care of the lovely staff at Southand Hospital and surrounded by his family on Tuesday, 28th January 2025.  Aged 62 years.  Dearly loved husband of Linda and specially loved father and father-in-law of Anna & Damian McKay (Invercargill) and Fran & Raf O’Neale (London).

Much loved Poppa of Keilani, Brylee & Eden McKay and Brody O’Neale.  Your “little squirts” in this lifetime and the next.  Loved best friend & brother and brother-in-law of Richard & Karen Shieffelbein, loved Uncle of Jason (Oamaru).  Respected Brother of Derek & Carolynn (Napier).
