Loved and loving husband of Alma Mary (nee Shirley). Loved and loving father of Alanna, Lynley, Yvonne, and Natalie. Loved father in-law of Doug, and Michael. Loved and treasured grandfather of Mark*, Tamsyn, Michaela, Lana, Jak, James, Sean, and Ruby. Loved grandfather in-law of Glen, and Pūnua. Loved great grandfather of Anja, and Isla. Loved son of the late James and Harriet Burke. Loved brother and brother in-law of Marie*, Steven*and Joan, Vern*, Bart and Chrissy, Phillip* and Judith*, Gilbert* and Vera, Rene* and Evan, and loved uncle. Special thanks to the staff at Clare House for their wonderful care of Jim, Alma and family.
