Peacefully with loving family by his side on Tuesday, 22 August 2023; aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Beverly for 58 years, loved and cherished father and father-in-law of Stephanie*, Reg and Simonne, Julie and Mark Easton, much loved grandad of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Much loved by the Karetai, Evans, Hall, Thomas, Strange, McCallum, Reynolds, and O’Kane families.  A service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street Invercargill on Saturday 26 August at 10.00am, interment to follow at the Eastern Cemetery.
