McLEOD, Heather Jean:

09.09.1945 – 10.09.2023

Passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on Sunday 10th September 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.  Aged 78 years.  Dearly loved wife of Alistair, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Debbie and Keith Hodges, Donna and Craig Smith.  Adored Nana of Sam and Blake and Great Nana to Alex. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Dawn and Brian Skinner, Cheryl De Clifford and Russell Colina, Ray and Marion King, Warwick and Annette King, Doug and Gail McLeod. Much loved Auntie of all her nieces and nephews and special friend to many.

A service to celebrate Heather’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Thursday, 14th September at 2.00pm, to be followed by a private cremation. Messages to 386 Rakahouka-Grove Bush Road, RD 6, Invercargill 9876.
