McDOWALL, Ian:

Unexpectedly but peacefully at Southland Hospital with his loving family by his side on Friday, 12th August 2022, aged 77 years.  Cherished and loving husband of Val.  Dearly loved Dad of Trevor (Ox) and Jacqui, Neil and Carmel, Alan*, Diane and Scott Sutton, and Allison and Glen Collie.  A loved Grandad and Great Grandad.  A service to celebrate Ian’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street on Thursday, 18th August at 1:00pm, the service will conclude with a private cremation.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Otago Rescue Helicopter Service would be appreciated and may be left at the service.  If you wish to watch Ian’s service via livestream, please go to the Avenal Park Website, Obituaries page and on Ian’s page click the link provided.  Val and family would like to thank the Southland and Dunedin ICU Hospital staff and the Helicopter staff for their wonderful care of Ian.  Messages to 103 Mary Street, Richmond, Invercargill 9810
