MUIJS, Auguste Elise Johanna

Passed away peacefully at BUPA Ascot Care Home on Sunday, 6th November 2022, aged 88 years, surrounded by her loving family.  Beloved wife of the late Rutger for 58 wonderful years.  Cherished Mum and Mother-in-law of Elina & Lindsay Campbell (Dunedin), Alan & April (Invercargill), and Colin & Susan (Perth).  Loved sister of Tom*.  Much loved Gran of Aaron & Andrea, Michael, Daniel, Rachel & Todd, Connor, Jessica, Lincoln, Ethan and Great Gran of Aleisha, Shakur, Rehaniha, Gabriella, Pedro, Addison, and Brooklyn.  A much-loved friend to many.  A service to celebrate Auguste’s will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Thursday, 10th November at 1:30pm, the service will conclude with the interment at the East Winton Cemetery at 3:30pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated and may be left at the service.  If you wish to view the service via livestream please go the Avenal Park Website, obituaries page and click on the link on Auguste’s page.   The family would like to express their thanks to Hospice Southland and the BUPA Ascot Care Home for the wonderful care and support of Auguste.  Messages to 93 Sunrise Drive, Seaward Bush, Invercargill 9812.
