McCABE, Joy (nee White):

Peacefully after a short illness, on Friday, 25 February 2022, at Southland Hospital, aged 82 years.  Dearly beloved wife of the late Terry. A much-loved mother and mother-in-law of Karen and Kevin Watson, Trish and Steve Gooding, Jude, Paul and Eileen, Maurice and Michelle Paterson, Theresa and Darryl Shirley, Brendon and Kellie, Catherine and Aaron Lindsay, Keiran and Michelle, Ange and Mark Chamberlain and loved friend of Michele Russell. Loved daughter of Bert* and Beanie* and loved oldest sister and sister-in-law of Murray*, Owen*, Colleen and Rex*, Philip* and Penny, Graham and Shelley, Maree and Graeme and the late Alan. Dearly loved daughter-in-law of Michael* and Katie* and sister-in-law of Pat* and Phil, Bill* and Janet*, Marie*, Michael*, John* and Betty*, Brian* and Pearl, Anna and Bill, and Yvonne and Jim.  Dearly loved Aunty Joy.

A Requiem Mass for Joy will be held in the Sacred Heart Church, North Road, Invercargill on Tuesday, 1 March, at 1:00pm, this is by invitation only.   There will be a livestream link available to view the Mass in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill. Vaccine passes will be required to attend. You are also warmly invited to join the Mass, via the livestream link available on the Avenal Park website, obituaries page.
