Died at South Care Rest Home and Hospital, Dunedin on Friday, September 8, 2023. Aged 55 years. Dearly loved son of Nola and Ted*, loved brother and brother-in-law of Mark (Auckland), Louise and Greg Olsen (Wellington), Justine (Dunedin), Adrienne and Logan Smith (Whanganui), cherished uncle of Monique, Timothy and Reuben Smith, loved nephew of Barby* and Charlie* Giles, Barry and Judy Guthrie, Russell and Kathleen Scott, Marie and Barry* Hanson, Tom and Roz Cavanagh, and Frances Law and loved by his many cousins. Loved grandson of Ivan* and Irene* Guthrie, and Frank* and Madge* Cavanagh.

A Requiem Mass to celebrate Shaun's life will be held at St Theresa's Church, Perth Street, Invercargill on Monday, September 18, at 1.30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Otago Region of New Zealand Brain Injury.
