DENNIS, Irene Elizabeth (nee Anderson):

Passed peacefully at Southland Hospital on September 11, 2023. Much loved wife and best friend of Ron, beloved mum of Vicky, and Tony*, cherished sister to Robert*, Jennifer, Kathleen*, Joan, and Dorothy, adored aunty to all her nieces and nephews. Irene’s family wish to sincerely thank all the Doctors & Nursing staff at Southland Hospital for their special care and support of her.

Irene was a wonderful lady and will be missed by all that knew her.  Ron & Irene recently celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary, Irene was a keen gardener and was a resident of Stewart Island for over 40 years.

Thank you all for your continued support at this time.
