Passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones after a long, hard-fought battle on 16 March 2025, aged 65 years. Deeply loved and respected mother of Jordan and partner Amanda. Beloved daughter of Donald and Roseleen Shaw. Dearly loved sister and sister-in-law to Carolyn and Darryl. Much loved Aunty to Grace, Cameron, Kora, and Vana. Loved friend to Perry and Jazz. Dear friend of Marcia, Jan, Sally, and Laina. Special thanks to the staff at Hospice Southland and Kew Hospital, Oncology. A service to celebrate Barbaras’ life will be held at the ‘Bluff Rugby Club Rooms’, 141 Foyle Street, on Wednesday 19 March 2025 at 2.00pm followed by burial at Greenpoint Cemetery.
