Peacefully at Southland Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday 19 March 2025.  Dearly loved husband of Judy.  Loved father and father-in-law of Craig and Michelle, Darryl and Mel, and Tracey and Steve.  Loved grandfather of Ethan and Jess, Kendyl and Max, Adam and Kayla; Samuel and Maria, and Ruby; Jayde and Nat, and Kaelib.  Loved brother and brother-in-law of Bill* and Rona*, Bob and Shona, Colleen* and Fred*, Jim and Joy, John* and Judy* and Richard and Wilma Spence.  A loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.  A service to celebrate Peter’s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Wednesday 26 March at 1.30pm.  Private cremation to follow.  To view the service via livestream, visit the Avenal Park website and click the link on Peter’s obituary page.
